Bluetooth for Harmon Kardon radios
« on: October 24, 2014, 08:26:01 PM »
Just heard today that Iron Cross Audio is installing blue tooth in the Harmon Kardon radios. Don't have all the details but I heard it was around $150.00 dollars.

$140...completely internal.
Nothing to plug in, nothing to charge, automatically repairs to your device when starting your bike and superior sound quality to the MPOW and most other "plug in" receivers we tested.

They've been doing that for a long time.

and they're very good at it.  Have used them and have sent people to Tony for years.

Also just noticed on their site that they are relocating from Jersey to North Carolina.  Guess it's too darned cold up there!

We Are Moving

Iron Cross Audio will be moving at the end of January 2015.

We will be accepting shipments at the current NJ address until Jan 23rd 2015.

Please note that Iron Cross Audio will be closed from Jan 26th until Jan 31st 2015.  During this time we will be accepting shipments at our new location listed below.

Our New Address will be:
Iron Cross Audio
42 Appleola Road
Hendersonville, NC  28792

There will be someone at the New Jersey address during the transition should any radios ship to the NJ address between  January 26th and January 31st.  At that time, all radios will be forwarded to the new location.  We will open at our new location on February 1st, 2015.

These phone numbers will move with us:
201-207-8003  Office
201-207-7157  Shop

How quick is the turn around on this service?  Sounds interesting.  Does BT offer better quality than the AUX port?

I would wait at least a week or so before doing anything since they're in the middle of moving from NJ to NC.  I'm sure Tony will find time to talk to you on the phone though..

Transmitting in any form will never give you the quality of being wired.
That being said, our Bluetooth receiver audio quality is very good. In real world bike applications, there will be no decrease in quality.

Turnaround right now (because of the move) will be 4-5 days.
We'll be back to 2-3 days soon.
